With the speed of new PC's these days I was wondering if 2 people with there own keyboards, mice and displys share the same PC as long as they were just surfing the net or doing HTPC duties. i can see gaming being a problem.

Pretty sure you cannot have more than one pointer device or keyboard on a PC.
Multiple keyboard or mice will simply act as one.
