Bought a new Lian-Li case

Fri Feb 21, 2014 7:14 pm

Well with some tax refund money in my pocket and my trusty Lian-Li PC-70 getting very long in the tooth, i decided to get a new case. Since Ive had my current Lian-Li case since '99 and have been very happy with it, decided to go with another one. Fortunately newegg had a decent sale on said case.

All in all I am pretty happy with the new case, it is nice and roomy and I like the new layout. About only complaint I have with it is the crap fans on the front of the case. I have one that wont spin up, and another making bad grinding noises...time to contact newegg and see what they can do for me, although I was planning to eventually replace them anyway, kinda sad with this expensive a case with half the fans bad out the box.

Nice case, surprising to hear about the fans.

My three year old Sandybridge system is in this Lian-li:

I suspect my share of tax returns to go to replacing the five year old GTX 260
