My GTX 460 is about to meet my new 2560x1600 monitor. I'm afraid it will not be a fluid experience. Hi ho. I'll step up next month.

Is this one of the OSD-less Korean monitors? If so, one of the buttons should dim the backlight, but it may not be noticeable until you get near the bottom of the brightness range. I have one of the Qnix 2560x1440 monitors and it's like that. It has 30 levels of brightness (I counted), but the entire useful range is in the bottom 5. Anything above that is like staring at a light bulb.
