Seems like they need some sort of seeding system. Shouldn't EA and TW be #1 or #2 seeds and not meet until the final?
I think its interesting how many of these companies in the running our those that people don't really have a choice about whether to do business with (e.g., Telecoms, Airlines, etc.).
TWC winning it makes more sense than EA. I can choose to not buy EA games, but I don't have any choice about using TWC if I want broadband internet. I also don't have any recourse when their service drops out more frequently than 56K when the issue is between the pole and their hub.
I was amused to find out that the tech TWC sent out to wire up the new house subscribes to Dish, about sums it up.
Microsoft vs. AT&T is an interesting matchup. I wonder if it would be better to pair like-minded companies in the first round instead...
Agreed. They should start by having companies with similar products (for instance, cell phone carriers) face off, that way you get the worst of each particular category moving on to the later stages.
Regardless, I think you do have to give EA credit for Origin's new refund policy and the Humble Origin Bundle. That's also not including Titanfall or the changes made to SimCity.
Like I said in the Shortbread, I'm not letting EA off the hook just yet, but I feel like they are getting more responsive, and they might be moving in the right direction.
On second thought, let's not go to TechReport. It's infested by crypto bull****.
