Which, for those of us that deal with Security, unauthorized disclosure, etc. causes a serious problem. We need systems that care because users don't. Unix is no pancea in that case!

For me it is Microsoft, and Red Hat, and Oracle, Adobe, IBM, and open source software......

At one time 'sendmail' was mail. Now we have a few MTAs and it's down to about 35% of all mail. M$ ripped off FreeBSD for it's TCP/IP stack and whatever "here take it" stuff it could find. I would bet most of whatever M$ does with mail is mostly what they stole.

It's BSD mail that runs the world. SMTP is what it does.

The problems you have with mail security have little to with the mail and a lot to do with the operating system nearly everybody uses. If that is a troll, so be it.
