Invitation to AMD’s 30 Years of Graphics & Gaming Livestream

Hello everyone,

Hosted by our very own Gaming Scientist Richard Huddy, we’re having a special event at our Lone Star Campus in Austin to commemorate & celebrate AMD’s 30 years of graphics and gaming innovation.
The event will be simultaneously streamed live worldwide and we’d like to invite you to join us by watching the stream from you home:

Event: 30 Years of Graphics & Gaming at AMD
When: Saturday, August 23rd 2014 at 9:00AM CDT.
Where: Livestream

Might be useful to know 9am CDT is 4pm CEST for those of us in the old world.

You can still register for the event at: https://amd30live.eventbrite.ca (Password: RedTeam)
Please make sure to show up early to ensure you get in the main room. Also, please register by no later than tomorrow, August 21 by 12:00PM EST.

AMD has been in the graphics and gaming biz since 1984? Hmm.. can't remember seeing AMD graphics cards being sold prior to ~2006 or so...

Oh sorry, it must be ATI, which AMD acquired in 2006.

Man I'm kind of pissed at myself right now. I canceled my ticket early yesterday afternoon because I realized I wanted to go out on the town, what a mistake! ...Everyone in the showroom got a free R9 290. Oh well :-?
