Canon MG5522. Its an all in one printer, scanner does both B&W and Color scans and the ones I have done come out beautiful. Ink cartridges are individual colors per cartridge, and it even has a separate Black cartridge for those B&W documents that is larger than the color ones. The printing almost looks like its laser printed (and I used to have both a laser and inkjet printer). It is also a full duplex printer (both sides of the page printing). It supports both wireless and USB connections. And since you are on a Mac, it supports Mac's as well.
- AirPrint allows you to print directly from your Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod touch wirelessly, while built-in WiFi technology allows you to print and scan wirelessly from virtually anywhere around your house.
- Canon All-in-One Photo Printer Compatible Operating Systems: Windows XP SP3 x32/Vista/7/8, Mac OS X 10.6.8-10.8
I got mine online at Walmart.com. They have them listed today at $69, and for an extra $5 they also have it listed as part of a bundle that includes a 500 sheet ream of paper and a thumb stick (mine was 8GB) for $74. I thought the bundle was a pretty sweet deal, so thats what I grabbed.
Prior to grabbing this, I was looking at another model Cannon on another web site, and it was listed as the best selling printer they had to offer. The MG5500 line seems to have some different model numbers but all with the same features. In the end, after researching things best I could, I went with Walmart on the price. I have been very happy with this thing. And I have yet to have a paper jam, which is a good thing
