Better PS for SN45G?

Tue Dec 09, 2003 4:51 pm

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get a 250 Watt power supply for my Shuttle SN45G? it has a 200 Watt one, and with my 2600 and 9800 pro, when I run DirectX 9 stuff (DX9 demos, halo, DOOM3), or anything that uses a good deal of my R350 chip, the PS makes funny ticking noises. I know from dealing with electronics that aint good, despite all the burn in tests Shuttle claims it passes. I have seen 250W advertised for other Shuttles, but cant find an American based online vendor to buy them from. Any ideas? Thanks.

You will be able to buy a 250W PSU from Shuttle soon. Info about the trade up program can be found on the SFFtech.com forums...

If you're in the US, you can buy the Silent X 250W PSU online direct. If you're elsewhere, check you're local dealer...
