Well the real number is still high, but not so high. I'd say 90% of the members in the list are inactive and will be forever. Most of them must have forgotten their passwords, and there must be a good 5%+ of second accounts (due to forgotten passwords).

I'd say a 20% of the active members (counting those that visit the site at least once a month) post about 95% of the comments.

Nope I always take planes to America and everywhere not in sane car's distance... ;) boats are so pre-20th century... unless we're talking about geek trips. We had to buy that aircraft carrier and make some TR trip across the Mediterranean, or Polynesia or something :D
