Ok I'm wondering what kind of cheap dual processor boards are out there? I'm thinking of mainly something that would support P3s or would it even be worth digging up an old board that would support dual celerons? Anyway any suggestions you give will be great.
The only really cheap ones I know of are based on VIA chipsets. If you're comfortable with that you can do a search on Pricewatch and find a boatload of them. The cheapest (good) BX one I see is a SuperMicro for $155
A Tiger MP + a pair of Durons is pretty dang cheap these days. As an added bonus, it will lay the smack down on dual P3s. If you still want for more, it leaves you a nice upgrade path.
