Any way to nuke all the data from a Palm?

Other than letting the battery run all the way down to nothing, that is? I assume that would do it but that would take days, and I'd really rather get it wiped before that.

AFAIK the memory is solid-state. Magnet probably won't affect it.

A stick of dynamite would be effective. :lol:

Yup, IIRC, you hold as small pin/whatever in the small hole in the back WHILE powering it on. Poof! No more memory.

That is usually how you do it. Look around and see what is on that thing, and in the worst case scenerio, read the users manual... :)

"Soft Reset" - press pin inside reset hole in the back.
"Hard Reset" - Hold powerbutton/backlight buttin down while pressing pin inside hole in the back - answer yes on question.

Wiped.

Got it, thank you to everyone. I can't find my manual (lost in this mess somewhere) and couldn't seem to get to Palm's site from work. So thanks again!
