If I make it over, i'll probably pick up a veggie tray and some dip to munch on as well.
I know I ain't coming empty handed, that is for sure.

Tents are not necessary. Ice and booze are!

Even though I can't make it, I was wondering if you're going to have the party set up TR style. By that I mean a different theme/topic in a different room/area.

Livingroom - Procs, mobos, chipsets
Kitchen - General graphics
Closet 1 - SFF Station
Closet 2 - Storage
Bedroom 1 - Windows
Bedroom 2 - Linux, Unix
Bathroom - Religion & Politics
Basement - Bargains galore down there
Garage - Overclocking, cooling & tweaking
Backyard - Backporch

:P :P :P

That is exactly why i am not having it at my house.
Can you imagine the R&P or BP people in real life discussions?

The only good thing would be I would get to mod in real life. :)

<Walk into the bathroom, where all the yelling and screaming is, and says>
I am here to Mod/Kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta bubble gum.

Mod in real life, LOL - with a nightstick.

I was thinking if you made it to the party, and it got outta hand, and the cops got called (this better not happen) then I would have you do the talking when they got there...hehe

Yeah, of course I would help out, as long as everyone else isn't walking around smoking crack and joints.

Be kinda hard to explain then. :o

it'd be a real party if we got some single ladies to come as well. but
the likelyhood of that happening is you'd have a better chance at getting
hit by lightning or winning the lotto. rofl

lol:
Women seem to especially like it if you are more devoted to your bad music, biker gang, forearm tattoo or marijuana. These all seem to work wonders. There are some interests you can show in a woman that will help you to boof her: a healthy interest in destroying her self-esteem and in boofing her friends more than her seem to work wonders.

Note that the following topics of disinterest have been field tested and shown conclusively NOT to work: Unix, literature, poetry, international politics, and sodomy.

OMG only one more weekend left to prepare.

Gleek, I might need the use of you truck by this coming weekend.
One of the wife's (ex) friends may or may not be picking up a bunch of stuff this week from my basement. If not, we need to throw it away - hence, the truck.

It's less then one load in your truck, baby stuff. Otherwise I'm giving up on making any room in the basement.

Very, Very long story: (incomplete summary) My wife's old best friend threw her family away to go be with her boss, this married African American guy. She got a divorce, old husband still kept in dark. I am friends with old husband and had to see him and talk to him with this knowledge in my head....and not say anything cuz we had to keep the secret for my wife since she is/was a better friend with her then I am with him... She already had an abortion and now she's pregnant again - or is she? This terrible person is a habitual liar as well....what else...Anyway she gave us all her old baby stuff in between unwanted pregnancies. Now she wants said stuff back, but hasn't came to get it in like months. She's got until next weekend, then I'm getting rid of it myself. It's pissing me off, the stuff just being there because there's no room and I just don't want anything to do anymore with this unsavory slut.

There...happy? :P

You called me and was bored yesterday?
Why don't you come over and help me move stuff around in my basement. Come over and I'll put you to work and you won't be bored anymore? Things I hope to finish this week:

1. Clean basement
2. Determine exactly how many chairs I have
3. Figure out what we are going to buy food-wise (thinking burgers, dogs, buns, condiments, etc.)
4. Figure out what beverages you want to get
5. Plates/Cups haven't thought about that yet
6. Tables...I have two card tables and Gleeks going to be bringing a long table (for the food/drink spread)
7. Clean gutters in the backyard (little leakage in the basement since we had all these storms lately...just need someone to hold the ladder for me and to call EMS should I fall down go boom)

yer going. it's that straightforward. no if's and's or but's about it sucker.

anyways...

we will have a texas hold'em event going on.. $5 per man...
min/max of 6 players. winner takes all. yes, there will be poker chips :)

many special beers will be brought to this event as well. so if yer a
beer guru, you will enjoy the selection...

another idea is if u wanted to lug with you all yer old computer crap
with you, we could partake in some tradeoff/buy/sell bazaar too... u think?

also.. shall i bring over my wireless base to frobozz's house in case any
of u geekz are bringing yer laptop and can't live without internet access 24/7?
