M6809

Mon Jul 12, 2004 3:27 am

I can't hold it any longer! I'm typing away with my brand new eMachines M6809. Its great! I can do just about anything with this while I am lying down on my bed. Now, if only they sold a higher capacity battery...

They're desktop replacements, don't expect much mobility and bat-time out of them. I have the AthlonXP 2400+ emachines laptop, it's a tad smaller than that one, and longer bat life, but it too is a desktop replacement.

But Darn good desktop replacements, they are.

Does any one know if there is an auto/air adapter for this m6809?

Seems that the m6809 uses 90watts, however airplanes only output 70-78watts. According to someone on the notebook forums, he plugged it in to an inverter and when he turned his m6805 on he blew out the circuit on the airplane. Wonder if it is still ok to charge the batteries off it?
