I currently have a single board Pentium III 1Ghz machine and am thinking of upgrading
I was wondering if it would be better to get a new board and another pentium III I was thinking of something like the IWILL DVD266u-RN, any info you could give would help me greatly

I would recommend going for the XP setup personally. If you went with the second p3 and the mobo, which are both pretty expensive, you would see *too* much gain besides smoothness and smp-aware applications. Going with the P3 would also limit your upgrade options later on. If you went for an XP setup you could get a decent board for alot cheaper or just go for a dual XP board and get only one XP chip now and upgrade later to dual.
