Directions to sign up for your league!

OK, here is what you need to do to sign up. First, a few items of note:

1) Please sign up no later than noon on Wednesday, August 18th. If you don't sign up by then, I'm going to assume that you don't want to play anymore and I'll replace you with someone off the waiting list.

2) Try to keep team names clean. Yahoo has a strict no-profanity policy in their fantasy leagues, and I have seen them enforce it. They threw a friend of mine out of a baseball league because his team name was naughty.

3) Note that I had to slighty change 2 of the draft times. 8 pm wasn't available for a couple of the nights.

4) Please check this thread to see what league you're in. Please do not sign up for a league other than the one you were drafted into. If you don't like the league you got drafted into, take it up with Fate, she's the one that did you wrong.

To sign up:
1) Go to yahoo.com, click on Sports


2) Click on Fantasy


3) Click on Sign Up Now


4) Click on Sign Up Now (again)


5) It may or may not ask you to sign up again (mine did once and didn't once )


6) Agree to terms, then click Join Existing Custom or Public League


7) Click Join a Custom League


8. enter your league ID and password from above and you should be ready to go.

Once you sign up, you'll see where you can pre-rank players and test your system to make sure it can run the live draft. Any questions, let me know.

Yes that is why you pre-rank players, the draft will select the next highest availible player on your list when you selection comes up.

I however will be there on time and ready.

The Infirmary name comes from a season a few years back where I lost 6 players to injury in the first 3 full weeks. Most of them for the year, not to mention Faulk miss some games. Yet I still made the playoffs.

Football is about the only sport I even like outside of baseball, though it's something of a distant second...this will give me all the more excuse to pay attention this fall though.
