It's all set up for up to 12 players and 2 spectators.

The mapupdate is finally done. Every map on the server is in the redirect so there should be no more problems downloading anything. Rather than trying to find individual links to every map just download UT cache extractor(see under useful tools) and you can pull it out of the UT cache after playing the map on the server.

Since everyone keeps asking I'll go ahead and post my paypal account here. I don't want anyone to feel they have any obligations, right now I'm just enjoying setting up the server and playing with the settings. The cost for the server is unknown becouse of lies by fatpipe servers.

Well, some of my buddies from the HO clan didn't think you were rusty, and they're the ones that usually end up fraggin the crapola out of me. So just make sure you're on my team when you get warmed up.

Also, I've edited my first post with the paypal info. Donate if you want. I'm really no good at asking for money, especially when the server has a few...quirks to it.

Also also, for anyone nervous about being a "noob" I would like to set up a training day to go through various vehicles, weapons, and tactics. There's nothing worse than getting into a game and dying 500 times before you even figure out how to say "Help!". PM me if you're interested.

The server is now set up with a password.

Also, I was thinking of throwing some vehicle mods on tomorrow. Specifically the FireBlade. If anyone has any others they would like to see let me know.

Well, the fireblade mod doesn't work with ECE. So you get the advanced armor mod instead.

I had a blast last night too. I'll probably add some more maps today.

Hey, does anyone have some suggestions for setting up a headset w/mic? I have one, but I haven't figured out how to get it to work in UT2004 yet.

Muahahahaha! The mod is on and it's awesome and here's the basic run down of the vehicle replacement.

Goliath Tank replaced by Hurricane Tank
The new Hurricane class tank still has the two vehicle positions. The driver primary fire shoots a pulse similar, but less powerful than, the leviathan. The secondary fire is a rocket launcher (non guided I think). The driver has a laser blaster that can zoom in with the secondary fire.

Paladin replaced by the Nexus Missle Launcher
Who needs armor when you have a really big gun? The Nexus Missle Launcher primary fire launches homing rockets. But the real love comes from the secondary fire, a guided tacticle nuke.

There's also changes to the scorpion and hellbender but they are less of a wowzer. I've set the server up to have 6 bots at novice level right now so...

Got a chance to get in and see what's what with redeye and liquidsqud (who is Death in that tank). I'm sorta worried. I think I might sux0r at this game, although I had a great.

Well, the server reset itself tonight while playing dreamus2. I'm gonna check around and see if this is a known issue or what.

EDIT: Turns out there is a bug with Dreamus2 where a populated server will crash at the end. I'll take the map out tomorrow and add a few new ones in.

Ah, don't worry about it, it takes a few rounds to ramp up. Red and I have been playing too much probably, and I can't help myself when I am behind the wheel of that one-shot wonder tank. Man that new vehicle is fun! I probably play about twice a week for a couple of hours, so I am OK, but there are guys that literally make me look like I've never toughted an FPS before.

I get about 5 seconds into that map and it resets my computer too. Even just playing instant action...

Well, I removed Dreamus2 but added 3 new maps...

I just got a window saying that my CD key is invalid and I have to reinstall the game. What's going on?

No idea. I was able to get in just fine. You might need to open a case with tech support and have them reissue you a key.
