Given the specs in some of them lately, I'd say they probably would do alright gaming if they had an R9700 or Ti4600 in them.

Slow? Slow you say?

I think that's a lot more dependent on what you put in it. I have a ss51 -- 2.53 GHz w/ 512MB of PC2700 and a 7200rpm drive. I don't think that it is slow at all. In fact, I frequently take work home with me just because it'll save time to run the stuff on my machine vs. the office one.
