All this great technology - Digital cameras, CD burners, DVD players, home theatre systems.

In all this amazing equipment, is there a way to "play" digital photos on my DVD player to my "large screen TV"?

I would love to play around with that XP Movie Maker, as an example, if the results could be played in a home theatre environment.

Is this doable using DVD technology, or is my only option to hook up a PC to my home theatre?

If your DVD player supports "Video CD's" (most do). You can create a video CD slideshow of your pictures using Nero, EasyCD Creator or other package.
