the rebate crap is what makes it NOT so great of a deal. i hate rebates.

in michigan, a store called CompUSA, sells maxtor 200gb hdd's for $79.99
out the door (no waiting 6-8 weeks for a friggin check).

I just picked up two 250GB PATA seagate drives off computergeeks today for $90 each...they had a greenlight sale on tem today. Better than BS rebates....

i hate rebates and the spam that comes with it after having to provide all sorts of marketing information to them.....
