Gene Roddenbury is a nutcase, and that show has the worst production values and acting...

If you want a good scifi, Farscape is a win-all.

Andromeda is not anime. Secondly ADV carries Andromeda and it is on sale.

I have been thinking about getting some of the old mech movies (that weren’t cartoons) but I see they have some battletech ones, wonder if those are any good. Anyone ever see them?

Crayon Shin Chan, you might want to take a look at that list of DVD's on sale.

Both Andromeda and Farscape DVD's are plentiful on it.

And yes, it is indeed mostly Japanese Animated TV shows and movies, I much enjoy my anime collection. Most of what's on that list, is garbage. Azumanga, Battletech, and (Depending on who you are) Evangelion are the only decent animes on that list.

My only gripe about NGE was the ending, blah! So frustrating. Otherwise indeed a fantastic work!

Some pretty obscure titles on that list as well, still helluva deal on those ya like!

I honestly hated all of NGE...I whole thing seemed implausible to me. Not to mention how absolutely weak some of the characters were.

Gainax has made far better other animes.

I honestly loved NGE, though.... Rei, Asuka, and Shinji..... and I loved the End of Evangelion movie.
Not the last scene, though. I don't like open endings.
