Some of the guys over at the slickdeals forums seem to think that these could come down in price even further, as the end of the month arrives (supposedly it's end of the fiscal quarter for Dell). I'm going to try to pick one up for my dad for a xmas present... I'll get my shopping done early for once in my life, and a cheap price too :)

$744 is the lowest that I've seen the UltraSharp 2405FPW.
$205 for the UltraSharp 1704FPT isn't bad, either.

i picked up the 1905 for my wife . should work good for what little bit she uses her computer . especially seeing as how she has a 8 year old 17 inch crt right now :o

Just made it in under the wire... Last night I ordered a 1905FP and a 12-in-1 USB card reader for a total of $305 shipped.
Xmas shopping for dad = done :)
