just wanted to chime in here and say how awesome of a deal this is,
but i already made this purchase a couple months ago at bestbuy:

:o You didnt waste any money. You got raped :lol: The egg has it for 65 bucks with no mention of a rebate..at least at last look it didnt.

On another note, i ordered a new drive from the egg yesterday and didnt pay attention to the shipping options. They are now using UPS as their default shipper :x If im lucky, ill get my drive by xmas before i have to ship it back as damaged :lol:

yeah whats even worse, is i ended up removing the drive from the
external shell anyways and put it in my computer internally now.. so
for that HP dvd burner drive i paid $159 for, i could have been a smart
boy and purchased it for what? $40-50 on newegg?

damn i feel sucky about this now. i hate bestbuy.

How is it only $35. I don't see the MIR and I see it for $59.99.

Thanks alot for the Link. I don't see the link at amazon.com and if I go to tigerdirect.com it doesn't have a rebate as usual. Oh well thanks alot. I'm picking one up today.
