Does anyone know if linux has the ability to use a USB HomePNA device? I figure it should just look like a USB ethernet card. I just want to make sure before I proceed.

I can check later tonight. Not sure, it's kind of iffy. I had a USB cable modem here that 2.4.8 or so refused to talk to.

Doesn't look good. No specific mention in the kernel of support.

Here's the deal (I looked into this extensively last summer). HPNA version 2.0, which runs about 10Mb/s, is _not_ supported under linux- companies won't disclose info on the controller=no driver. Some HPNA 1.0 cards (1Mbps) _do_ work in linux, at least in the 2.2 series of kernels. That being said, none of these are USB, all are quite old, all are quite slow.
