I'm not really bitter, but my wounds still sting a bit. Ouch.

Eh. We lost the use of the lab machines recently. We used them as long as we could. Doggone it.
But one of my buddies promised to add five machines at his house to the Folding effort. We're not giving up yet

arpstorm wrote:Arpstorm has made its way to position 25 at last. My spring class at the U just started and perhaps we can get more Folders to join in.
arpstorm wrote:Well, there should be always a couple of Darth's, so he's just replacing what was lost. Thanks for the reply. What is with the Darth Leor thing? Don't you realize that Darth Vader died? Yeah they burned him on a funeral pyre, the funeral ceremony for all Master Jedi.
arpstorm wrote:It's hard to convince them, but this makes no sense. Folding has less security implications than them visiting pr0n sites and clicking yes on everything.Recruiting Folders ain't easy 'cuz so many of my pals run Windows boxes and are afraid as hell of the security implications of Folding.

The dark side will be met with defeat again. My money's on noble TheJuggernaut! Hahahahaaaaaaaa I have already put in an order for some Romulan Ale to celebrate TheJuggernaut reaching 4,000,000 points.
leor wrote:i've said it before and i'll say it again. no one will ever defeat me, NOT EVER.
juggs will get his, i will pass him before the year is out.
arpstorm wrote:So here it is two years and then some later. The landscape has evolved. It now requires 6000 points/day just to get into the top 20 producers list! Leor is still working away and holding at around 20,000 or so points/day. arpstorm, powered by a Mac Pro and a Vista box with dual 9600GT cards and other friends is doing about 10,000 points/day.
Good luck to us all!
