Did you mean WFT there, or were you going for FTW? Both could make sense, but I was expecting FTW. :-?

Heh, Pete Roth beat me to the short "FTW" declaration...and every time I read that, I always think "WTF" first, so I thought I'd throw that out.

So what's WFT? Wine For Two? :D *looks stupid*

First time posting in DYMT. Cool. Almost made it on the first page, err or page 470- whatever it was.

Seeing that it got lost in the morasse of the old thread, I'll repost my query here.

I have an authentic Chicago Blackhawks jersey with Chris Chelios' autograph on it. Would it be worth more now on ebay since he's no longer on the team (thus being harder to get a signature), or worth less because, well, he's no longer on the team (thus less fan interest). My friend says it's worth more, but I say it is worth less.

Any thoughts?

It might be worthless.

I also was put off from posting in the old thread - because of the size. Well done for starting another Kevin! I probably still won't be able to keep up with all this chat, but hello to all at TR. :)

A typo intended to be "WTF."

EDIT: Wow I'm a postwhore. This is my fourth one in this thread.

gbcrush, congrats on owning the 479th page...

I was ONE POST SHY, though.

BTW, I had signed up for TR to get front page comments access, but didn't start posting on the forums until a year ago. I actually had to e-mail Kevin to unlock my account because it had expired.

I had decided to read DYMT (eight hours, and it was on 319 back then), and then decided to reply, and realized I couldn't. :P

That's why I had Kevin activate my account.

The post count you see to the left is thanks to DYMT. It'd still be ZERO if it weren't for it!

Considering you made DYMT the mess that it was for a couple years, given your grand response to imi's post...

how did we survive.

its like an empty wallet.

As I've heard, just post random threads in the BP, like what was happening while we were without this thread.

And it was almost THREE years.

Like I said, this is definitely DYMT Reloaded. Just wait for Revolutions, like I said. That thread will suck.

Goal, guys: Get this thread locked due to length within two years.

Well, we've managed 43 posts in 90 minutes. That's 688 posts/day if we keep it up. Assuming we only manage 500, then we get to DYMT's length in a bit under a month. Think we can keep it up?

It's now 2 pages long and there hasn't been a single post about beer?

Guess I'll be the first.

I had one of these with lunch today. Not bad. A little too much aftertaste for my liking, but not too bad overall.

Too bad you were too slow and missed it. :)

OTOH it has been called Page 478, so you are not really missing much.

Now it is time to talk my boss in to letting me expense this device.

I just hate paying $17 because someone dumped a bunch of crap in the lot.

kevin should have consulted with me before starting this thread, that's my only beef. duplicating greatness is a sketchy proposition at best.

I'm not sure if the "duplicating greatness" is an issue with Kevin opening the thread, or the perception of its participants that this was meant to replace the original/carry on in it's footsteps, etc.

Either way, surely there was some sort of need, which Kevin answered in his own fashion.

(Personally, I would've named it "Son Of Don't Ya Mean Type" with no links to the original just to start it off on it's own absurd foot. Besides. "SODY MT" has an interesting ring to it)

Hmm, why be passively promoting predominant patriarchal paractices? I suppose in all fairness, it could've been "Daughter Of..." "DODY MT" is pretty damn ringy too :)

Mwahahahahaha! I have a place for random postwhoring now!

I just discovered I'm ranked 115th or something in postcount behind a lot of people I've never heard of, so this is actually a concern (at least this summer when I don't have much to do).

Yeah, but DODY MT doesn't make one think of sodomy. Is that an advantage or a disadvantage?
