Given your automotive repair history, I'd save the $$ for the next major system that breaks. For now, anything that keeps the axles from dragging on the ground meets your wheel needs.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Today is my birthday 8) 33 years OLD now.

At lunchtime the Engineering group is taking my out. After that I need to run to the Sec. of State and renew my tabs. Much to Gleek's dismay I will not be getting a FROBOZZ plate. Then after work I gotta go pick up Amber from the sitter. Then my Mom is coming over to help watch her (make no mistake, my Mom takes over which is quite fine with me) and so I can get some stuff done around the house. I've got to do some laundry and clean up some stuff. Maybe I'll BBQ something. Then tomorrow I get to work through my lunch to make up the time I've going to be late today. Last night Amber and I played until she was exausted and ready to crash. My wife called and talked to Amber on the phone, it was quite cute. So far so good though. Both Daddy and Baby miss Mommy. :)

On the way home from our sister manufacturing building up north I raced (from 0-70 anyway) a mid 90's Mustang Cobra that sounded really nice on 16 mile road. I think I surprised him. That's only the forth time I let my guard down and took the bait. It was fun but I shouldn't be doing stuff like that on my way to go pick up my daughter heh. :o

Ugly? I'll have to disagree with you... and that's a 1986 model. ;)

Oh, and on the whole budget thing... I'd be selling my Multi-Spokes (that's what they're called... 4130 just isn't updating their site on that...) if I got these. ;)

liek OMG weer on page 483 today!

;)

And half the point of the original DYMT was to see what page count we could rack up. Therefore... DYMT-R has the same goal, no? ;)

This thread needs a post.

I'll move car questions not related to an already open thread back into here.

This car:

...needs wheels. (It comes with a grille and all that, don't worry, it just had to come off for the engine and trans that were in it to come out. So the guy left them off. ;))

I have these wheels:

But I don't think they'll look "right".

Your opinions of these wheels?

I think they'll look much better. I'm trying to find them BEFORE getting the car, as the car needs wheels for the trip here. :) Not to mention, the wheels I have need tires very soon...

My old car is crummier that your old car

I'm a bit rusty on old European cars... what is it?

BTW, my current old car is much worse than that Golf that I'm getting:

Image
(the pic that shows the worst. No, it's not a Ford. ;) It's a Honda Civic.)

And the one before that was in slightly worse shape than the Golf...

(the bad side, though... that's the car I wrecked...)

it's a Wartburg

with a 1 litre, 3 cylinder, 2-stroke engine (that needed replacing quite often)

That's a 1974 model (though they all looked the same from about 1968-1992 or there abouts when the stopped making them.)

I believe they were voted the 2th worst car ever made in the world ever, proving they really must be the worst since they can't even win that competition

Yep, he's looking for a pass. :P

And even though I told Kevin I won't care about page counts...

I care about page counts. :P (But, I won't post with "484!" on the next page.)

The only reason DYMT got locked is because it was too long. Therefore, this is the continuation of DYMT.

Page 23 of this thread is where I'm expecting a story. :P

me is bad at math. I need someone to let me know when to post my story.

A word of warning: this isn't Green Washcloth bad, not even close. Its just a tale of high school drunkeness and a really bad cab ride. Nothing overtly nasty.

The only way that works is if we get it to 23, and then post whore the heck out of it so that he MISSES page 500 AND 501, and hits 502 instead. ;)

Which begs the question: at what point does a php thread become so long as to be unmanageable by the mods/admin? I'm certain in a year or so, we'll see a new incarnation of this nonsense, unless the problem can be fixed beforehand.
