Shuttle seeks input

Wed Mar 28, 2007 5:01 pm

Check out the new ad from Shuttle on the front page guys. They're looking for input from SFF users or potential users. This is a chance to share your thoughts on things like:

"Would you purchase a mATX barebone that has similar dimensions as the Silverstone SUG03 or SG01 from Shuttle Computers?"

And as a bonus, completing the short survey enters you in a chance to win a SDXI BYO. They're only running this promo on The Tech Report, so one of us gerbils will get that fiery little box. And sorry, but Shuttle's targeting this at US readers only.

I have a few ideas myself (basically reasons for me to retire the SN45G a while back), but I guess I can save the typing.
The Model M is not for the faint of heart. You either like them or hate them.

Can you give me a link to the survey? I cant' win the shuttle but I would like to give input for their future stuff.

After 10 or so refreshes, all I'm getting are ads for Cosiar flash, Abit fatality, OCZ ram and Verison mobile (which should be targetted to USA only but isnt).

My favorite question from the survey:

"If you had a chance to euthanize a Mac Mini, how would you do it?"

The link is on TR right above the top article, folks.

You mean right where that google ad for "Free Wealth Ebook and DVD" is. The ads are IP location based.

For everyone not in the US, feel free to check that out, but for our US gerbils, PLEASE click through from the banner on the front page.

Yeah I filled that out once I saw it; though I left the Optional Info blank. I decided to light the mini on fire in front of Stevie Boy's face :D It would be pretty sweet to win one. Shuttles make awesome LAN boxes.

hmm I was hoping for questions like "Would you like to see more G style shuttles?", "Would you like us to actually release new products?", etc

That's rich! ^^ (But true)

But seriously, I have often considered Shuttle when dreaming of building a HTPC. But have never been able to get past the proprietary motherboards and power supplies. I mean, if I wanted something small that had no upgrade path, I'd just buy a laptop.

And it's kinda funny...I just got done building a system using the Silverstone SG01 and love it. So do I answer yes or no to that question? hmmmm

I filled out the survey. I'm currently running 2 shuttles.

Would be nice to win a more updated one. 8)

Yes, they're keeping up on these threads, and even said:

B U M P

I think Shuttle's SDXI BYO giveaway ends on the 23rd. Just a reminder here that if you haven't completed their survey, shared your thoughts and registered for that free barebone system, your time is almost out.

Remember, this is only getting promoted on TR, so good luck!
