Hahaha I was about to come here and post the same reaction! I went to look at the team stats, and saw a HUGE boost in production. I thought "WTF^^" and looked at the top producers. segfault7: 16,313 Hopefully he stays up there :D

I've been watching him, he was averaging 11-12k for the last few weeks and now all off a sudden jumps to 16k! Wonder where he got the sudden burst from?

Sadly for him there's no way he'll be in 1st place only a month from now... He'd need like 150,000 PPD to pull it off if we were standing still... Ain't going to happen, but if it does I'd gladly give him the prize.

No kidding... You gotta pay attention to spikes like that...

BTW, I made some more changes to my SMP rigs at work... *fingers crossed* but I think I really have it this time... :)

1 segfault7 17,483 1,707,561

He's passed you guys is PPD. Hmmm...I wonder if he can keep up this pace? If he can, that'll be great for the team. Actually he's passed you guys by over 10000 in the last few days. He has 27k points in for the last two days.

21K PPD?? Are you serious? :o

He's also had two 30k days.. this is absolutely insane. Anybody know where he gets his firepower from? A few of these, perhaps??

That looks like a large farm that has been switched on mass to SMP.

Looks like it was averaging around 11k and will now average in the mid to high 20k range. Note that the 37k day was preceded by 14k day so it looks like a bunch of systems slipped from delivering one day to delivering the next.

Questions:

1) Has segfault7 solved the flakey SMP issues to be able to deliver continuously?

2) If segfault7 continues to deliver at this rate, does that threaten leor and drfish?

3) If segfault7 is on top by the BBQ but doesn't step up to claim the prize who gets it?

We need some of that popcorn that those Rage3d guys used to bring, this could get very interesting!

maybe he's always run on linux. the SMP's not flakey when you're running it native.
Your ideas intrigue me; I would like to purchase stock in your company.

The bet is for total points, not highest PPD...

But that's all screwed up now since I think someone is giving me help I don't want... :x

WinSMP is after all windows native. I think drfish has been having WinSMP problems with that File I/O thing.

Has anyone asked stanford why LinSMP requires 64-bit extensions? I'm thinking something went missing when the ported the SMP client to 32-bit windows.

I knew that, just hadn't checked the totals for you guys and segfault7. I think the bet is safe unless segfault7 steps it up massively

We need a new bet since the other one is pretty much over. Let's start a pool and guess how many people segfault7 will pass by the time of the bbq, closest wins! Or how many point he'll have by then. That guy is closing in on 30k a day!!! WTF!

And I still want to know who that guy is or if he's even registered on these boards.

For sure, I'm only half the number of points ahead of you as you were of me and we all saw how quickly that table turned...

Seggy hit 30,000 points today. I'd say it hits 40k before he reaches his limit.
