OK, can someone just shoot me now? I listened to the second half of the Michigan game yesterday on internet radio. Not pretty. Why do we ALWAYS choke?
I have nothing more to say about that.

I leave for Norman on Wednesday to watch the Canes play the Sooners.I really have no expectations Miami will win, but it sure would be nice if they did.And ,yes ,I'm glad college football is back!

Too bad I was working while my game was going on and the big ten network doesn't broadcast anywhere but.. I'm really looking forward to season tickets at the shoe this year. I wish I could have watched that Michigan game, that's crazy. I'll enjoy seeing where that puts them in the rankings. :o

I for one would like to see Carr enjoy a long tour of duty at Michigan so he can keep losing to Ohio State year after year. I hope that sometime in his senior year that Mike Hart can learn some humility since none of the last three teams to have beaten them were really all that good....

If anyone votes Michigan in their top 25 at all next week, it will be more proof that the system is rigged.

Sure. You could have NCAA sanctions, retroactive forfeits, loss of scholarships, even suspension of the program. These have happened to other schools.

The good ole "hook and ladder". Plays like that are why I really enjoy college foozball. If only it was mandatory to have a fleaflicker every game.

#27 in the USA Today Top 25 coaches' poll and #33 in the AP Top 25 writers' poll. Someone just doesn't get that if a team loses to any Division I-AA team, they shouldn't be ranked among the top 25 Division I-A teams. David Duffey gets it, though:

It would appear that Michigan outranks Notre Dame and Florida State.

Hawaii is ranked 20, I hear they may have a round 1 QB.

I'm hoping Penn State does better than it has in the last 5 years or so.

I'm glad Wisconsin is ranked 5th, they were under-ranked last year.

Tennessee is 24 with a loss and yet no love for Michigan State.

Finally I can start watching sports again. 8)

USC is such a media baby. I predict they won't stay at #1 for long.

As for Hawaii, their QB is amazing. If they actually played anyone good, they'd be a contender for sure.

They are going to confuse so many people remaning Division 1-A and Division 1-AA to the "Football bown division" and the "football championship division". Sheesh. I think that there is a horrible idea.

As for App state being ranked? More power too them. To go into an opponent's team and stun them like that? Amazing.

It's tough to move down without losing, and their schedule isn't the most difficult around.

Any of you guys excited for the VT-LSU game tomorrow? VT has a chance to shake things up. I've felt like VT's overrated this season(although their defense is quite good). I don't think VT's going to win and will probably drop in the ranks to about where I'd want them(15-18) but it'd be a pretty big upset for them to put up a win.

They beat East Carolina 17-7 after it being close most of the game.. I just don't see them holding on against LSU.

My team is the Buckeyes.. until later in the season we don't have big challenges, it'll be hard for us to get legitimacy until we play PSU/Wisconsin.. at least the latter is at home.

On Row 55 tomorrow. Should be a great time by all. Unfortunately the game starts at 6, so it's not going to be hot :-( Hopefully they fix that before the Tennessee game 8)

Go Huskers!

did I mention that yet?
USC has the week off.. Nebraska plays Wake Forest.
.. hopefully the week off hurts USC more than it helps.. but they do have two full weeks to prepare for Nebraska that way.

Hopefully, Nebraska will at least play good. Of course, hoping for the upset.. would be nice.

Wake Forest basically outplayed Nebraska there.. :(

good just to come out with a win.. but Nebraska better wake up and play a ton better before USC rolls into town.
