60 Starting Quaterbacks in the NFL

Wed Dec 19, 2007 2:44 pm

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football ... -qbs_N.htm

The NFL's starting-quarterback carousel continued to spin at a dizzying pace Monday night when Chicago's Kyle Orton became the 60th signal caller to start a game this season.

The number of starters through Week 15 is up 20% from last year's full-season total of 50, and marks the most starting quarterbacks used league-wide since the NFL expanded to 32 teams in 2002.

I wonder if Cassel will start against Miami?

I doubt it.

I think this may be the year that changes the record. The Pats have found a way to make 'undefeated' important.

They've tied off the steering wheel and put a brick on the pedal.

I thought Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters was the one behind center.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the Pats are resting anybody. Brady's TD record is at stake, perfect season is at stake. Personally, I hope they go for it all.

Push 'em hard Bill !

Kyle Orton is like a budget-film pirate nobody's ever heard of...Neckbeard the Terrible or something.

Meh, I'm not even going to do him the justice of applying "Terrible" to his name. Neckbeard the Mediocre is what I'd go with. =)

Lest you forget, it was Orton, during the 2005 season, that came in when Grossman got hurt.
He went 10-5 At one time winning 8 in a row.
Grossman came back and won the last 2 games. They then lost in the 1st round of the play offs.
In 2006 it wasn't Grossman that took them to the Super Bowl.
It was their defense. And they had a running game with Thomas Jones. 314 att, 1335yds, 9 TDs
