Looks like Ned is gonna lose by a field goal, unless Yahoo does some crazy adjustments.

Damn Ned, you needed the Pat's kicker to get like 12 points, and he only got 9.

Tough loss.

WTF, I think Pete is making the playoffs because of points!!! Everyone ahead of him lost. Oh well, at least Pittsburgh got stomped and we can still make fun of him!

Big brother Peyton will beat up those big nasty bullies who did this to you.
This should make you feel better, lil' Eli.

Notice the phrase "current projected playoff standings."

That is about as close as you'll get to the playoffs in Banhammer this year.
This should also serve as "buh bye" to Scott "Phenom" Watson to head back to the underground bunker as well.
I figure "Phenom" = "Damaged Goods," right?
lol

Damn i'm funny.

.....and I'll be #3 with the same 8-6 record as you but less points, so we'll be playing each other.

Good luck bro. :)

Pete, your 7-7 ass will be #4, so stop trippin dawg! :P

Edit:
BTW, I like how before the Steelers-Pats game, the tv kept showing how NE leads in all offensive stats and Pitt leads in all the defensive stats.

Then I looked at Pete's Pittsburgh D result for this week:
-1.00

You too. And i think the D scoring is retarded. If the opp team scores 1 TD, you lose 7 pts? Thats a bit much. Maybe you lose 3pts for every TD and 1pt for every FG. I mean, if you hold them to a FG, you're kinda doing your job no? I wish there was a way to award points for a goal line stop too. Like, + .25 for every play inside the 10 yard line that doesn't result in points.

Dpos, How do you figure #4 ? I have the second most points in the league as of now, and after the update may have the most, and I'll be 7-7 with a lot of other people...

Everyone who will be 7-7 has less points than me, am I missing something?

edit: NVM , I see that OG pimp is not 6-7, he's 7-6, now 8-6. You'll all get yours, I'm the bread winner in this league.

I know brady will probably go **** on Jets, but I'm hoping moss catches a few of those bombs, so that should even out (somewhat) the damage. I'm also starting their defense because I know the Jets are gunna cough it up.

I have a Cincy deep threat in TJ playing the niners, Addai pummeling the raiders, but I'm torn, do I start Fred Taylor against the steelers? My heart says no because the steelers can stop the run, so Portis will get the call against NYG. Lee is becoming a more active target too in Green Bay so hopefully he'll see some love from Brett.

The projected score has me over Merc by .02. Wow.

I should have pulled a Brian Westbrook last week, and took the loss to Damage last week so that I could play him again this week. And you would not have made it into the playoffs.

Who would have guessed that Brady would net me less than 5 points? I count on at least 20 from him every week. My ace up my sleeve, Adrian Peterson (the good one from MN), will get me an easy 40 points tonight!!

Since I didn't even make the consolation bracket, I think that definitely qualifies me to pick a winner in this league. 8)

The final looks to be Steel Curtain vs Turbochargers. My official pick is...

STEEL CURTAIN!!!!!!!

I have Moss and the Pats D against Miami. Addai at Houston. Taylor at Oakland. Roflsburgers at Stl. The only swap I'm considering is Engram for holmes as Engram has been seeing a lot of play time and the Baltimore D is not what it was. Couple that with an O line that simply doesn't exist in Pittsburgh and Holmes as a viable down field target almost becomes a non-factor. Hmm.

I hate to sound like a whiny little bitch, but the worst week Brady had all year was 21 FP against Baltimore. Who would have known he'd only turn out 4.5 points this week... against the JETS??

I was so looking forward to my rematch against Corrado. Now I've gotta make sure that none of the OG dudes don't get into the top three.

You even DREAM of beating me and you better wake up and apologize.

It will be kind of sad for you to go from first place to fourth place in a matter of two weeks.

Turn out I WILL pass. I can't wait to add this banhammer trophy to my sig for an entire year. You better put on a show if you want a chance against the unstoppable juggarnaut, that stallion of a man, the classy yet tough PETE UNDASCORE ROTH.

Edit: Hmmm half a game of addia, or a full game of portis?

Check your banhammer voicemail Ben.

You have a missed call from "THE PLAYOFFS."

They said see you next year.
