While I was very happy to see the Dolphins beat the Ravens today, I was actually hoping they would wait until the next game and beat the Pats instead so that both perfect seasons would be ruined on the same day. But such is life, I am genuinely glad to see Miami get a win this season finally and that they broke that long losing streak.
I'm not. I was hoping they'd accomplish something unprecedented, historic, memorable. Instead they're just another pathetically bad team.

well, IIRC the last time a team went 1-15 it was the Cowboys team that went on to win what, 3 super bowls? So maybe in a couple years we'll be talking about the Dolphins as a dynasty.

Or maybe not.

Does anyone know how the Patriots got the 49'ers 1st round pick?

At least we get to watch it.

League announces that game, in which New England could be the first NFL team ever to go 16-0, will now be available to every TV viewer in the country.

Which means we have to listen to Bryant Gumbel. I think I'll leave the sound off and just watch. After all, it's not as if Eli's going to have a chance.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

The NFL had faced mounting pressure from lawmakers in recent weeks to make the game available to more viewers.

Excuse me, but...lawmakers? Don't they have something else to do?

Except after the Steelers game -- didn't he pretty much agree the entire city of Pittsburgh was now his b*tch? (Where's our OP? )

LOL.. packers... what is favre's record in dallas again?

And if the patriots play against peyton manning like they did against eli they won't be there either. But still I would consider the patriots, really the pack is just a good team, but a good team with too many holes.

Really I just hope they go 19-0 so someone can shut up the '72 dolphins drinking their champagne or whatever when some team loses. It was 35 years ago. Get over it.

They earned it, if you ask me. It was a damn good game as well.

I really don't seem a team right now that can beat them. Indy I don't even place in the top 5. Dallas was the only true contender and they fell apart these last few weeks.

However. on any given Sunday even Miami can pull of a win. So this is why I don't bet on sports.

That would be the only bright spot in them winning the whole thing
