I have to agree with tank. I loaded the new driver (28) and immediatly noticed a decrease in performance over the 27.50 series I had previously installed. Stay away from the new 28 driver, unless you have maybe a GF4

What about 21.83 vs 23.11 vs 27.50 on a GF2 MX? I've seen tons of benchmarks run using GF3 cards, but I don't have a GF3! I have a feeling that the newer drivers really won't help my vid card out, but it would help to know from someone who has 'been there and done that'!

28.32 is showing a decrease even on GF4.

I personally still love the 2.08s, the 7.56s, and the 12.90s. Primo stuff.

The 28.32 drivers are stable in my system while the evil 23.11 drivers are not. I am willing to give up 2 frames/second if that means that the game will run without crashing. I have not yet seen a problem with the 28.32 drivers running, but the WHQL-certified 15.70 drivers are still a good fallback.

I'm running the WHQL 23.12 drivers without any problems, and performance is great. These drivers are the same as the 23.11 drivers without the infamous BSOD "loop" error.
