How can you have 110% Color Gamut? I don't think I understand what "Gamut" is.
Other than some new ports on the back, is there really anything different?
you see they advertise 102% of the sRGB (AFAIK, or could it be NTSC?) CIE1931 gamut. This means that the display can produce a broader range of colours than what is defined in the sRGB spec (what most consumer pc devices are built around). This is great for people working with larger colour spaces like Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB.2408WFP Color Gamut (Typical) is based on CIE1976 (110%) and CIE1931 (102%)

What ghosting and Shimmering issues. I have one. Not one issue.

Do you have a Rev A1 or later?

Anything on this review yet? Or anyone that has one or used it have any reviews or impressions on the Dell 2408WFP. How well will it work for gaming, both pc and PS3 if it was hooked up to the HDMI input? Plus watching Blue Ray movies.

I believe sort of bottom left to top right. But it's more of a free-form blob than anything else. Certainly, TN panels are the worst and the reference models at the top right are the best. There are tradeoffs. I mean, picture quality on a TN is going to be low compared to SPVA, but GTG will often be superior.

the review wrote:With dismay, I learned that they indeed were—the input lag, pink tinge, washout, and over-saturated colors seemed standard fare, and I saw multiple reports of users returning one monitor and getting another one with the exact same problems. Clearly, either this display has some serious design flaws, or it has very widespread quality control issues.
Those issues are so widespread that one Dell forum moderator actually advised a user to wait for the A01 revision of the 2408WFP to come out before returning his monitor.
