im building a budget computer, and i wanted to know what you people would recomend as a vid card for the system.

I was looking at either a GF4MX, radeon 7000 or 7200, GF2 TH 64mb DDR, or maybe save up some extra cash for a GF3 ti200

What would you people recomend to someone who is extremely poor, and every dollar counts?

Well, obviously it depends on your gaming needs (or other usage).
I will tell you that the GeF3ti200 is the only one of those cards with any kind of future. It's the only one with a fully programmable T&L unit. Games showing up a year from now will almost certainly eat those other cards alive, whereas the GeF3 ought to still be able to hang in there.
If you care not about games, though, go for the cheapest one of those other cards. They're all good basic display cards.

If you wait a bit longer and keep an eye out, the GF3 Ti200 should drop a bit in price as dealers try to get rid of them before the GF4 Ti4200s come out in late May. CompUSA has the VisionTek version of the GF3 Ti200 for $149 on their web site.
