Which distribution are you using?

Did you try setting the wireless connection through iwconfig?

I reset my router. (on/off)
I have the broadcom airforce wireless card in my laptop. I have heard that this is a very finkey card to set up.

Okay, but did you issue the appropriate iwconfig command?

Example:
# iwconfig eth1 essid "router" key 25:52:ff:ab:ab:cd:ab:33:00

So, was this your solution?

Titan's example was a bit opaque, so I'll try to explain it.

Substitute "router" for the name of your router, i.e. Linksys or bluzepher.

Substitute that long hexadecimal key for your router's WPA access key.
