I've watched FavreGate 08 in semi interest.Obviously the Packers coach doesnt want him there and I think its more of a distraction to the rest of the team than anything else. What I've seen is Aaron Rodgers handle himself pretty damn good throughout the whole ordeal and he seems to be focused on football.I don;t really care who he plays for but seeing someone else at qb for GB other than #4 will be odd. He's surely been the face of the franchise for the last 15 years.Hell, who knows ,maybe Brian Brohm will beat out Rodgers for the starting qb spot.

Ugh I think the Jets would be about the worst team he could go to.

Atlanta should take him as they were doing at least mediocre before the dog fights.

anyone who decides to retire "FOR SURE" and then changes his mind as late as he did deserves nothing.
He's a crybaby and I have no pity for him.

Oh well, no purple and gold Brett. :x

Too bad there's no regular season Jets - Packers matchup.

He will be playing the Patriots twice though.

I will say that honestly, I think he really does love the game. I don't think it's about the money entirely. Most other quarterbacks I would think would do it just for the $$, but I honestly think that Brett loves football that much and can't stand the thought of not playing as long as he's above average and not dead.

Good luck in the AFC, Brett.

Good luck in the AFC East, Brett.

Good luck coming close to a Wild Card, Brett.

Good luck with that whole Madden curse, Brett.

I forgot he was on the cover this year. No wonder all of this is happening. Didn't he even consider the curse?

Say, this might be a positive for the Packers...after all, they did get a draft pick they otherwise would not have had, and whether or not the jets are terrible they still make out pretty well.

What are the Jets giving up in this trade?

4th round pick, unless...
3rd round pick if Favre plays 50% of Jets' offensive plays this season (very likely), unless...
2nd round pick if Favre plays 70% of plays (likely) and the Jets make the playoffs (not likely), unless...
1st round pick if Favre plays 80% of plays and the Jets make it to the Superbowl (not at all likely), unless...
THREE 1st round picks if the Jets trade Favre to the Vikings.

I think the Jets would be the last team I would want to go to. This may end up being a skid mark on his career.

Well at least the Jets have a couple of decent receivers in Coles and Cotchery (in comparison to the Bucs, whom have old man Galloway).

We'll see if the Jets O-Line can hold. I don't know that Favre can take a season full of sacks. His bones are getting brittle

Was this a real condition? I know that's where Favre really wanted to be...

And he is reunited with Bubba Franks.
