I am wondering if this UPS will power my system for a couple of minutes at full load:

System is in my signature. The 9800GTX+ is not installed though.

I run the system 24/7 folding.

If you guys have a better recommendation please link me!

Considering that they quote "2 Minute(s) 810W Full-load, 11 Minute(s) 405W Half-load", I'd say you're closer to the half load, and most likely under it, so getting at least 5 minutes out of it shouldn't be any problem.

Agreed based on the specs it sounds like it will work. I'm unfamiliar with UPSes though, and am wondering if this really suits my needs, if there is a better deal, if this is a reliable piece of hardware, that kind of thing...

I have seen CyberPower mentioned together with APC, so it should be good. The unit does both boost and trim AVR, so I have no complaints. I bought this unit when it was $200 Canadian from Dell.

I got that same unit myself off of ebay for about $150 CAD 4 or so years ago. I figured that since it retailed for $500+ then, even if I had to replace the batteries, it was a good deal. Still haven't replaced the batteries yet, and it will still power my two systems for 20 minutes if the power goes out.

Can't really say how good the CyberPower unit is though myself. Of all the technologies to keep up with, UPS's are low on the list. All I can say to do is read some reviews and see what people have to say.
