I was watching a sports show on a Buffalo TV station because they were talking about the upcoming Winter Classic hockey game. These morons were bragging about how they "started the tradition" of the now annual outdoor hockey game. Did these morons forget that the first game that started this tradition was played the year before in Edmonton. Last I checked that was in Canada. Sure they called it the Heritage Classic, but it still doesn't change the fact that it was started up here. I see/hear that so much when watching/listening to shows from Buffalo. This pisses me off the way they just ignore facts to make themselves look better than they are.
Sorry...just had to rant.
Oh and I get to celebrate the new year on the road as I travel back from Ottawa (Kanata actually). I've got tickets to go see the Canada vs. USA WJHC game. The game starts at 7:30pm, so we're leaving here at about noon, getting a bite to eat, watching the game, get home. I figure I should be home by 4am. I'm really excited.
