Who actually voted for AZ?

Oh, that's right, I did. I'm actually going by the UberGerbil School of Who to Root For in Championship Games, in which you root for the team for whom it's been longer since their last championship.

I've always liked the Steelers, but I've got to root for Kurt Warner and the Cardinals this time. It's great to watch a washed-up old guy make a comeback! 8)

I voted steelers, but if it was rigged the other team would win for the merchandising.
(Just read an article saying how much more money the nfl would get with the steelers losing.)

Actually Az took it to Philly the first half...then the usual collapse in the third. They showed up again in the fourth to finish the deal. As on any given day in football..its a luck of the draw. Yes i voted for Az..ever since the Steelers robbed Seattle a couple yrs ago they are NOT my favorite team. GO HAWKS.....oops...i meant CARDS

It's always fun rooting for the underdawg. So I voted for and will be rooting for the Cards.
My dad has lived there for a long time, so I'm excited for the ppl in AZ.
I don't think the odds are in their corner though, PIT's defense is just soooo great.

Come on, who doesn't want to see Pittsburgh be the first team with six rings? That's sure as hell not going to be happening anytime soon in San Francisco or Dallas, so it might as well be my beloved Steelers.

I was hoping to see Brady get his fourth ring, but poop happens.

Now I want to see Pop Warner get SB MVP.

If you're really rooting for a team, they absolutely will win in your mind. There is no difference. Not sure what geese have to do with it, other than being tasty.

FYI, it's usually spelled geez, at least that's what I've seen.

Also, GO BEARS!

I've got it out against the Steelers ever since they stole the SuperBowl from the more-deserving Seahawks.

The Steelers didn't rob anybody in Super Bowl XL, so LicketySplit and ssidbroadcast need to quit bitching. :) If anybody robbed someone, it was the officiating crew. Yes, there were a couple of calls that went against Seattle that worked in Pittsburgh's favor, I'm not disputing that. But if I remember correctly, there were two very big blown calls in the fourth quarter that favored Seattle, which they didn't capitalize on.
The two decisions that favored the Hawks were the fourth-quarter replay reversal that gave possession, initially awarded to Pittsburgh, back to Seattle; and the no-call of a block in the back by Seattle during Kelly Herndon's record interception return.

Don't be pissed at the Steelers, be pissed at the officials and the Seahawks themselves. Blame whomever you want, but a big interception on the goal line (Yay for Ike Taylor) and piss-poor clock management in the fourth quarter does not win Super Bowls.

I'll also throw my hat in the ring for Arizona. Oh, and you can count me in amongst the Seattle fans who'll root for anyone who is playing the Steelers no matter what. But hey Steeler fans, 4 out of 5 rings are legit, that ain't bad at all. :P

Ok...so the officials killed them..if you remember correctly the momemtum changed drastically after one particular call...so screw the officials..it was preordained IMOHO

Mods, how come some of my posts don't get published? What is the deal?

I wrote a post saying yeah, the officials made bad calls, but there was one early-game call that was TOTAL FAIL/OBVIOUSLY PRO-STEELERS. Pass interference?! My a$$!
