If you're not folding with your idle computer time you're not part of the solution.

Welcome to Team TR and UGN Atvar! :D I apologize for being slow on recognizing your membership in the mighty Nation of Gerbils! We are poised to put a hurtin' on a few folders around here and we are glad you are here to help with the smackdown!! :P :P

Your name has been added to the UGN Census.

Are you running the latest Cuda drivers? I think the number is 177.83. I am getting 5100 ppd out of my 8800 GTS with that driver. :o :P

Hi everyone

I have been a long time reader of TR and have been facinated by the entire distributed computing effort and UGN's participation in this effort since I first read about it. I finally decided to get off the bench and take part (rather late than never I suppose), so about a week ago I decided to have a look at the fah GPU2 client to see just how productive a GPU could be and what impact running the GPU2 client would have on the rest of my pc usage. Surprisingly it has had very little effect at all to normal pc usage and my 8800GT has been contributing about 3500ppd to the UGN effort for the last week. My pc is online virtually 24/7 I will leave it folding in UGN's name. I will hopefully be adding my server, once it has been rebuilt, to the effort in the near future

I've been folding off and on for UGN for a while now, in stealth mode. Since the weather has turned cooler, I'm back on.
Currently just running GPU2 on an 8600GT (AM2 5000+ clocked to 3.2) and another on an 8400GS (S939 AX2 3800+). I've got access to a Quadro FX1700, and I'm trying to figure how to add that to the AM2 box, for both folding and maybe as a dedicated PhysiX card while gaming (riiight). Haven't seen much info on mixing a Quadro with a gaming card in the same machine, but I'm assuming it shouldn't be too hard, and the 1700 is very similar to the 8600 core-wise.

Remind me not to post after a few (too many) brews...
I should have mentioned that those two were my current GPU2 clients. I have six others that are running the CPU client:

S754 3000+
AXP 3200+
AXP 2500+
AXP 2400+
P4 3.0 w/HT
P4 2.66

As a side note, the Quadro doesn't fold for crap, even though it is identical to the 8600GT with exception to the clock speeds. Sadly, the 8400GS is faster.
Should be good for close to 3000 PPD when all are active.

I just got started on this today. My name was taken so I ended up with Khali87.

One question, where do you get the signatures for forums showing your stats?
