Bit o spoiler space for those who haven't seen the movie or tonight's episode....

Is my memory playing tricks on me, or is the Secret NSA Super Soldier Guy the same actor that played the FBI agent that got blowed up at the beginning of the movie? (I looked it up on IMDB and he is) Are the producers trying to put one over on us or is it something deeper? (And if it is why the hell didn't Scully recognize him?) Well, it would seem like he's really dead this time, so I guess it doesn't matter....

The X-Files recylcles actors from time to time, in different roles. I think Carter has a pool of actors he prefers for certain roles, so re-uses them. He still has them read for the parts & whatnot, but they have a slight edge in landing the role. That's what he states in my episode guides, anyway.

People still watch that show? I leave the TV on for it, but I don't really watch. I've picked up bits and pieces of the series in the "post-Mulder" era, at least enough to know that they'll never really get rid of him.

I was a fairly regular watcher up until right around when the movie came out. My interest had been dwindling, and for some reason I just never sat down to watch it again.

I watched religiously until 3 episodes ago, at which point I finally awoke and realized the magic was gone. I'd actually rather go to bed early than watch that show any more. How the mighty have fallen!

Yeah, me too. I just caught that episode by chance. My Replay still records it, maybe it's time to delete it.
