I'm holding off ordering until the 3rd, to give it 10 days to get here, just in case there's some sort of silent iPod update.

Copy/paste was in big demand for 2.0, as well, so it could very well have been the #1 bullet point for 2.0. I guess they did have the app store for that, though. I dunno, maybe you're right, but I think they're just stubborn on UI design.

Even being stubborn copy/paste seems trivial to me.

Are you going to get an 8gig iTouch or one of the larger ones ? When I first got mine I thought 8 was going to be to small but after having it for awhile 8 is plenty for my use. Make sure you let me know how the internal speaker is. I have the older model with no speaker.

well, she'll be coming from a 4GB Nano that she' can't possibly begin to fill. Her usual rotation of music is around 1.1GB. I figure the remainder is more than enough for any apps she'd want. I think 8GB is going to be plenty for her. Come to think of it, I think 8GB would be more than overkill for me, even. My usual music rotation is closer to 900MB.

well calling the the iPod Touch "Touch" doesnt sound right or describe what you mean without the "i" infront..

iTouch my iPhone frequently. It makes my boo boo gummy.

I've been playing with my new toy and I love it so. The Facebook app is a little funky though, needs more polish.
I have all of like 4-5 things downloaded so far including the Sponge Bob application, Tetris, and that sweet wooden maze game.
The ability to Google search using voice commands is really cool. The GPS is far more accurate then my Blackjack 2 was.

Yeah its very very frustrating. Double posts, incomplete posts, no posts at all, has problem viewing large photo galleries (in fact it does on anything more than 30 or 40), I could go on.
