A Bugatti Veyron being removed from a saltwater pond near Galveston, Texas. Driver was on his cell phone and was distracted by a bird. He's gonna need more than Rebecca DeMornay's cast of hookers to pay for this repair.

Some genius took random YouTube music videos and remixed them into new songs. Really cool stuff if you ask me.

How appropriate that that race was held at the world's first purpose-built racetrack, The Brooklands.

This video shows the winner of "Ukraine's Got Talent", Kseniya Simonova, 24, drawing a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II.

Vintage racing at Lime Rock in 2006, but filmed with cameras of the same vintage of the racecars. It's a nice effect and other than the titles and a brief view of a Porsche 906/908 [/handwave] one could ascribe the video to the age of the cars.

I was there when they filmed that! I'm a tiny dot amongst the people on the bridge at the start. The actual event was significantly less exiting than the film of it... lots of waiting around in summer heat with no water, very cool none the less.

Yeah Brooklands in an amazing place. First there's the motor racing stuff... what's left of the track, cars, bikes etc. Then there's the aircraft stuff too: a concord, a wellington, even a chamber for high altitude simulation.
