Some people are trying in Virtual. To use all 8 "cores" you have to use
Sun Virtual Box VM, which I have found is slower that VMware. The latest
release is a big improvement on the old versions.

Just got the core i7 folding, had water cooler issues. Working OK with a 10 deg C. drop.
According to HFM.net it is getting 22k ppd. Also have two NV275's SLI folding in it.
May have to look into one of those dual socket Mbrds.
Glad to see you back chasing Gerbils, and me!

Is that all you have?
You have forced me to enjoy Gerbil snacks quicker than I wanted.
THE HUNT is part of the pleasure!
I guess I will have to hunt the one. JPINTO

fuzzhead wrote:The system you ask about is getting 24k ppd under win7 64bit. Running in Vmware player ver. 3. It also has two
NV275's folding which is 17-18k ppd. It's an i7-920 at 4.0 Ghz with 6 gigs of memory. I have allocated 5gigs to the
Vmware Player.
Parts are arriving this week for an Identical system except it will have one Nv275 and it is an i7-930.

HTPC #2? Or perhaps The Guest room PC? In an enthusiast's guest room a top notch PC is viewed as excellent form. /grin
BTW, the EVGA Precision tool is quite slick and reads exactly the same GPU core temp as RivaTuner.
