I think drfish & idchafee have the right idea on how best to use UGN as a recruiting tool for Team TechReport.
We need a large influx of new members to achieve our goal of world domination.
UGN may just be the hook to get new members to join the fold! We just need the right story line.
Something like a call to TechReport readers to rise to the challenge of becoming the top folding team in the world and chronicling the teams in our path with short & long-term goals and then some links to the really scary folders like HOW??? & OC-AMD (Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!, as Homer would say) with a tag line of "we need a weapon" to counter these folding giants in order to achieve our ultimate goal.
So building UGN into a giant killer could be likened to the "How do you eat an elephant ?"analogy for achieving a great thing. It would be "one folder at a time" instead of "one bite at a time".
Then, *takes a big breath* we could have UGN as part of the weekly update with a running total on the ppd gain, the diminishing delta to the Mega-folders, maybe a countdown to a recruitment goal for new members and other such measurables that would help maintain/sustain interest in attaining the long-term objectives.
I would be happy to sponsor contests with NewEgg gift certificates like the percent point gain drfish ran so successfully or a UGN recruitment contest that all Team TR members could participate in.
