Did you check on the supermicro website to see if they offer any replacement parts for their cases yet?

Could you get something like this?

And the 7V mod is perfectly safe. I'd at least try it and see if you get the right amount of air before purchasing a new fan.

I have none of the plastic plates for covering up the unused 5.25 bays, and there are lots of 'em. It also appears that inside there is room for additional 3.5 hard disk brackets to attach. Right now it's a little short on space for HDs. Is there any place to get stuff like that? Anyone got some spare parts for that case around? ;)

Nice case,sometime in the future I'd like a 760.

HDD mounts

If you can find a few 5.25 to 3.5" brackets, you could mount additional HDD's in your 5.25 bays.

Just an idea....
...if only you could see, what I have seen, through your eyes...
