Well, since there is not too much difference (6%, maybe?) between the two, I think that it makes perfect sense. Cut costs and you really don't lose too much...

So this is the peverbal "other shoe"? AMD is gimping their chips to compete with Intel? Ouch. I too cant wait for the price drops. I just hope the X2 prie cuts translate over to the s939 line as all I have been hearing about is AM2 pricing.
