E3 v2.0: S'N'M show! where sony, nintendo, and microsoft have huge-ass displays and all the little guys can crowd around them. oh, and don't forget the booth babes.

I used to go to GenCon all the time, a lot of gaming companies have booths there. Having a larger computer gaming venue would make it an attractive convention to go to again. The people who run GenCon are talking to the gaming companies about moving their gaming portion of E3 to GenCon.

provide a substitute for small video game companies
How ironic. An E3 subsitute will mean big flash booths, booth babes, giveways and all the other stuff which cost a lot of money. How can the small guys fit in to that model? |
