Oh how I would love to see some wind taken out of Apple's Ipod sails....and take down their arrogance meter a few notches.

I just wish it was someone else that might be taking them down and not Microsoft.

Hopefully the heat will be enought for them to fix that craptastic software they call Itunes.

Price?

I have not, and will not, buy an iPod for the time present, because I don't have random $100 bills falling out of my wallet -- especially not when MP3/WMA-enabled CD players now cost $30 and run up to 40-hours on 2 alkaline AA batteries.

If M$ can figure out a way to significantly undercut App£€, then that might change...

That can not be the final design can it? I mean it's not the least bit attractive... It's rather plain looking actually. I'm sure it's just a prototype though.
